Romero Pineda announces the appointment of his new partner

As of March 24 of this year, Elsy Elena Durán was appointed as a partner of Romero Pineda.

Elsy Elena Durán is a recognized professional in her practice area, Intellectual Property, and has a solid track record advising national and international clients. 

Elsy Elena is a lawyer and notary graduated from the Dr. José Matías Delgado University, her practice includes the issuance of opinions and legal strategies for searches, new presentations, maintenance, and defense of Intellectual Property assets, she also advises on assignments, mergers, and other corporate procedures that affect brands, trade names and other Intellectual Property rights.

As Intellectual Property Manager, he relaunched the Foreign Affairs Division of the Firm's Intellectual Property area, and is responsible for all procedures that affect Intellectual Property portfolios in different countries around the world. His dedication has resulted in the consolidation of important regional portfolios, expanding the Division's horizons to many countries.

With more than 15 years of work dedicated to Intellectual Property, as well as her continuous training, Elsy has managed to establish herself as an expert in the area and has been ranked in the practice of Intellectual Property in international directories such as World Trademark Review (WTR), Chambers and The Legal 500. His vast experience in the matter allows him to provide his multinational clients with dynamic and innovative strategies, in the correct management of trademark portfolios and other Intellectual Property rights. He also legally assists clients with expansion plans through franchises, joint ventures and other legal figures in the American region.

She is a certified professional in Change Management and has gained experience in the field of Intellectual Property by participating in international meetings such as INTA and INTA Leadership Meetings among other conferences for the empowerment of women and applies her knowledge in the Firm's program "RPA Innovation." Project", providing specialized legal advice on Intellectual Property matters to entrepreneurs and small businesses.
