Our client DEG- DEUTSCHE INVESTITIONS- UND ENTWICKLUNGSGESELLSCHAFT MBH, a subsidiary of the KfW Group that promotes business initiative for developing countries and emerging markets as a contribution to the sustainable growth of said countries, granted long-term financing in favor of BANCO LA HIPOTECARIA, SA (Panama) and LA HIPOTECARIA, SA DE CV (El Salvador) who acted as co-signers in the credit operation.

Romero Pineda & Asociados, participated as legal advisor to the Creditor (DEG) in the credit contract signed by the parties for this operation, the case also included the deed, granting and registration of the Pledge contract on the portfolio of mortgage loans for an amount of 30 million dollars. This transaction was carried out under 3 jurisdictions (Germany, El Salvador and Panama).
