Father's Day Holiday

June 17 National Holiday in El Salvador

Dear Clients and Friends:

ROMERO PINEDA & ASOCIADOS reminds you that June 17 of each year is a paid national holiday in commemoration of “Father's Day”, which applies to both public and private sector workers.

Work centers that work on June 17 must pay an extraordinary salary made up of the ordinary salary plus a surcharge of the latter's 100%. Furthermore, if they work overtime or work at night, the calculation for the payment of the surcharges will be made based on the aforementioned extraordinary salary.
