We remind you that in accordance with Article 190 of the Labor Code, August 6 of each year is established as paid leave for the “Celebration of the Divine Savior of the World”, which applies to both men and women workers in the sector. public and private sector.
In addition, August 3 and 5 are established as paid holidays for the city of San Salvador.
The work centers that work on those days must pay an extraordinary salary made up of the ordinary salary plus a surcharge of the latter's 100%. Likewise, if they work overtime or work at night, the calculation for the payment of the surcharges will be made based on the aforementioned extraordinary salary.
