COVID-19

Due to the spread of COVID-19 worldwide, the Government of El Salvador has declared a state of quarantine as of this day, Wednesday 11, 2020 at 4.00pm.

Therefore, we ask you to take note of the new measures that will be applied from immediate way For flights arriving in the country:

• Is left over the entry of foreigners is totally prohibited (tourists) through any border point;
• They will be able to enter the following people:

to)Salvadorans and children of Salvadorans (although the latter do not have a Salvadoran passport but can prove their nationality)

1. b) Foreigners with Residence in El Salvador;
2. c) Diplomatic Foreigners duly accredited in El Salvador.

-Please take note that the people referred to in paragraphs a, b and c, They will be tested upon arrival in the country by members of the Ministry of Health of El Salvador (MINSAL) or by the International Health Office (OSI), who will evaluate the origin of the passengers and it will be at their discretion to determine the quarantines for them.

At the moment, the decree establishing these measures has not yet been made public, however these were decreed by the President of the Republic at a press conference this afternoon.
