José Luis began his career as a legal collaborator in 2000 at a Salvadoran firm. He then became a legal advisor for the management of the Central Region of the National Administration of Aqueducts and Sewers (ANDA), where he worked until 2005. After that, he became an associate attorney at Romero Pineda in the Corporate and International department from 2006 to 2012. He was then hired as legal manager at Duke Energy International El Salvador, where he applied his knowledge in the energy sector. In 2017, the company changed it´s name to Orazul Energy El Salvador he remained working as legal manager, until 2021. In 2024 he returned to Romero Pineda, to rejoin the Corporate and International department, where he is currently an associate.
