NEW ELECTRONIC COMMERCE LAW

Yesterday, October 31, 2019, the Electronic Commerce Law was approved with 74 votes of the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of our country, which will come into force one year after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Without a doubt, having a regulatory body like this provides legal security to consumers, but also to merchants, since it will facilitate legal treatment in matters of consumption, but mainly it helps daily life, as we find ourselves in a technological era, in which commerce is carried out at the distance of a click.

This law comes at a good time since the world is simplifying the ways of doing business, on the occasion of the transformation of Information and Communication Technologies that are moving rapidly and being able to have commercial relations 24/7, thereby promoting the development and economic freedom.

For our country it is a great step and enormous news.

We congratulate this event and applaud the continued promotion of these legislative initiatives, and we are very eager to be able to participate in changes that help Society.
