SECOND EXTENSION OF PHASE 1 FOR THE RESTART OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

On July 19 of this year, the President of the Republic of El Salvador announced through his social networks, the second suspension of the implementation of PHASE 2 of the Economic Reopening Plan, scheduled for July 21, due to the high number of infections reported in recent days and according to opinions of experts from the Ministry of Health.

Therefore, according to Decree 31 of the Executive Body in the field of Health, of June 14, 2020, article 7 establishes the factors that determine the gradual economic reopening; one of them being the consideration of the epidemiological situation, being able to reform the terms for the resumption of activities.
